A message about COVID-19.
Whilst it’s tough it’s the right thing to do.
Both Wallingford and Henley restaurants are closed and will stay closed until the situation changes.
The PM has announced that social contact with others should be avoided; including visiting pubs and restaurants.
He didn’t impose a curfew on restaurants actually opening – but Paul and I see the underlying message clearly.
To beat this virus we all have a part to play. We don’t think it matters what size the part might be – we’re all in this together and we must all try to do our bit.
We will be investigating restaurant quality deliveries soonest and will post with more thoughts.
In the meantime we look forward to welcoming everyone when the dust has settled.

Full normal menu 12noon – 2:30pm and 6pm – 9pm
Lunch Menu 12noon – 2:30pm
Full normal menu served all day from 12noon until 9.30pm

Shellfish Cow Restaurant & Bar isn’t part of a chain, it’s owned and run by two local experienced restaurateurs who simply love good food and entertaining.
The ever so slightly over the top quirky bar is jolly well stocked, serving classy Martini cocktails, Bombardier ale, lagers, affordable decent wines and artisan gins. In fact, (funny that) the same winning formula as our original Wallingford restaurant and bar.
Lunch and dinner menus focus on the freshest British shellfish landed from around our shores from Cornwall to the Shetlands; all delivered overnight directly to our kitchens.
